Copycat Ghirardelli Brownies

Have you been searching for a 7-ingredient recipe for brownies that taste practically

identical to Ghirardelli’s box mix’s? Well look no further! This recipe was created by my

grandmother and I over winter break, when we were excitedly experimenting with a new

mixer I’d received as a Christmas gift. The brownies tasted amazing back then, and this

statement holds true up to this day! On top of that, the recipe is simple and takes less

than 45 minutes to complete. I encourage you to give it a try the next time you’re

craving a sweet snack. You won’t regret it!

Ingredients (for 1 pan):

● 1 1⁄2 cup of whole wheat flour

● 2 chia/flax eggs (or substitute with 1⁄2 cup yogurt)

● 1⁄2 cup of oat milk

● 1⁄4 cup of cacao powder

● 1⁄4 cup of melted coconut oil

● 1⁄3 cup of coconut sugar or granulated sweetener

● 1⁄2 tsp of baking soda

Instructions:

Step 1: Combine your flour, baking soda, and cacao powder into a bowl.

Step 2: Combine your chia eggs, oat milk, melted coconut oil, and coconut sugar into

another bowl.

Step 3: Add in the mixture of wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Then, fold in your

chocolate chips and pour the batter into a greased pan. This recipe works best with a

9x9 pan.

Step 4: Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.

Enjoy!
