What did the chocolate bar say to the coconut? I like you a choco-lot! Believe it or not,
you’ll be saying the same thing to this recipe once you’ve tried it. When this product first
came out of the oven, my family members were hesitant to give it a taste. We’ve all
heard of chocolate peanut butter and pineapple coconut, but chocolate coconut was
unchartered territory. `
Nonetheless, I can now say that I’m glad we gave the flavor combination a chance
because my morning yogurt would look a lot more dull and leave me a lot less full
without it. That’s why I’m encouraging you to create your own batch of this granola! It
only takes 7 ingredients and half an hour of your time.
Ingredients:
● 3 cups rolled oats
● 1 cup shredded coconut
● 1⁄2 cup unsweetened cacao powder
● 1⁄3 cup cacao nibs
● 2 tbsp chia seeds
● 1⁄2 cup maple syrup
● 1⁄2 cup coconut oil (melted)
Instructions:
1. Combine rolled oats, shredded coconut, cacao powder, cacao nibs, and chia
seeds into a large bowl.
2. In a smaller bowl, combine maple syrup and (melted) coconut oil.
3. Gradually pour wet ingredients into dry and mix thoroughly.
4. On an oiled baking tray, spread out the granola.
5. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes
6. Flip granola over and bake for another 5 minutes.
7. Let granola cool for at least 45 minutes.
