Gingerbread Granola Recipe

When you think of Christmas, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? For most, it’d

probably be Santa’s warm smile, a steamy cup of hot chocolate, or the embers of a

fireplace. For me, it’d have to be morning yogurt sprinkled with gingerbread granola.

Give my recipe a shot this winter, and you’ll undoubtedly unlock a new Christmas to

cherish!

Gingerbread Spice Mix :

Mix together 2 tbsp ground allspice, 2 tbsp ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp ground cloves, 2

tbsp ground ginger, 1 tbsp ground nutmeg, 1 tbsp cardamom, and store like any other

spices

Ingredients (for granola) :

● 3 cups rolled oats

● 1 cup almonds (or walnuts/pecans)

● 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

● 1/3 cup dried cranberries

● 2 tbsp chia seeds

● 1/4 cup blackstrap unsulphured molasses

● 1/2 cup melted coconut oil

● 1/3 cup maple syrup

● 2 tbsp gingerbread spice mix


Instructions:

1. Combine oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, chia seeds, and spice into

one bowl

2. In another, mix together molasses, coconut oil, and maple syrup in another

3. Slowly, pour wet ingredients into dry and combine well

4. Pour granola on a large oiled baking sheet and spread out evenly

5. Bake granola in oven at 350°F for 20 minutes

6. Then, turn the granola over and bake at 350°F for 5 minutes

7. Remove tray from oven, and let granola cool for at least 30 minutes undisturbed

8. After granola is cooled, break into chunks
